Why invest in leadership training?
People think of leadership courses as a tick box exercise. A certificate to put in the portfolio so ARCP goes a little smoother. Leadership isn't just about knowing the types of leaders. It's about communicating, negotiating and creating opportunities. Leadership training teaches you to work with others, speak confidently in meetings and enable good ideas for the greater good.

I get complimented on how I present myself in meetings, during wards rounds and in intense conversations. I am fortunate to have had strong role models who showed me that leadership training is a skill worth investing in.
What I realised is that we use these skills everyday as much as our clinical skills but we don't invest as much time in them. The more senior you become the more you realise you need to have good professional skills to help across more credible whether it is in interviews, in meetings or during conflict on the wards.
Check out the content of our course and consider how these skills will enable you to be a better professional.
What do we cover?
This is a comprehensive two day designed for doctors and medical professional across all specialities and levels. This course as you can see in the outline is designed to give you an in-depth understanding of team dynamics and how to bring out the best in the team you are in. There is no need to do additional short courses in conflict management and giving feedback as this in written into our course! We also explore topics typically asked about in interviews at all levels so we are value for money.
